DKW RT175 VS 1959

To be perfectly honnest with you  dont know much about these bikes, what i can tell you is. The bike came from a private collection over in Denmark, its a 175cc machine. I have the previous registration document along with the UK NOVA

At some point it looks like the bike has had some painting done, it does start and it does stop, take a look at the cylinder barrel now this is a piece of artwork would this be known as a porcupine barrel ?
